[ 1/2/23 - 1/5/23 ] Back to Work

Happy New Year!

We hopped straight back to work here in the Robotics Shop, as I immediately got to work soldering the final three boards that I have remaining. Unfortunately, disaster struck as when I soldered board 7, the hall effect sensors were not all of the same type, and caused a massive malfunction on the board, which caused it to be unusable. We're putting in an order for the backordered type of hall effect sensor I normally use, and I'm hoping it'll arrive sometime within the next week.

I also had a project I worked on before I went off on break, which was Christmas presents for my family. I did some preliminary research on their favorite animals and colors and set to work making small wooden ornaments in the shape of their favorite animals. I then painted them at home, and was really glad with the results. Everyone seemed to like them too, so I'm calling Christmas 2023 a success!
