So this week was a strange week, with the classroom being flooded on Wednesday resulting in a somewhat lowered amount of work. This week, like last, was spent attempting to fix the problem of the flickering LEDs plaguing the board. I spent so much time trying to check voltage, signal issues, and current, then realizing that the current flowing through the boards was too low.
So, we attached a new power source that provided 1A of current, as compared to the 200mA of the Pro Micro, to the boards, and it fixed it right up on the string test. Now, I'm constructing a test board so that we can get the idea for how the new admin PCB will be set up, since now we need to redo it so the new power source is incorporated into the design.
