Hello! We had a short week this week, so little progress was made. However, I did finish rewiring a new and neater controller for future use. The wires are now less cluttered and tangled, and all of the motor drivers have been centralized to one board. Unfortunately, the manual control scheme is currently out of order for the time being as we transition to an encoder controlled system (all hail our future robot overlords.)
Regardless of how I may or may not be enabling the robot uprising, I have some ideas for the future, namely involving a keypad. My idea was to use the keypad like a sort of vending machine style setup, using the letters to select individual motors, and then using the numbers to enter in the desired number of ticks. This would enable control of the motors using the encoder while also allowing for precise controls through set inputs.
